Yipti Yartapuultiku, meaning 'Soul of Port Adelaide' in Kaurna language, stands as an important community space celebrating Kaurna history, storytelling and cultural connection. Cladding and Roofing were contracted by SARAH Constructions to deliver the large scale roofing, external cladding and bird netting packages for this landmark community and cultural project. 

Designed by Ashley Halliday Architects, the build featured Stratco Maximus 33 in custom COLORBOND® Steel colour Hunter Red across the roof and external walls, FC sheeting, as well as Locker Group’s custom corrugated pic perf cladding. 

This first of its kind Locker Group pic perf facade design played a major role in this project, and was brought to life through a highly collaborative process between Sarah Constructions, architect Ashley Halliday, Locker Group, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and Cladding & Roofing. 

The end result is a celebration of diverse culture, community and Country, shaped by the cultural knowledge of Kaurna people.
