Cladding & Roofing were engaged by Lendlease to deliver specialist roofing packages as part of the Tonsley Park Main Assembly Building (MAB) infrastructure works, a significant project within South Australia’s innovation and manufacturing precinct.

Delivered under a construct-only contract, the scope included Kingspan roofing systems and Makrolon roof packages, incorporating insulated gutters, mineral fibre roof panels, and Makrolon polycarbonate cladding to the existing MAB structure.

Given the scale and complexity of the works, Cladding & Roofing proposed a custom lifting solution, which was adopted by the project team. This approach utilised a series of self-erecting tower cranes, enabling safe and efficient installation across the expansive site.

In total, the project comprised approximately 4km of insulated gutters, 38,000m² of mineral fibre roof panels, and 7,000m² of Makrolon cladding, a large-scale infrastructure delivery requiring detailed planning, coordination, and technical expertise.
