Cladding & Roofing partnered with Hansen Yuncken to deliver the roof, wall, and CORTEN cladding packages for the State Drill Core Library, a key government facility supporting South Australia’s resources sector.

All cladding elements were fabricated in-house by Precision Sheet Metal Solutions, ensuring precision manufacturing and consistency across the façade. A defining architectural feature of the project is the use of CORTEN steel panels, giving the building a distinctive and robust external identity. The lower façade incorporates a perforated CORTEN pattern, while the upper panels allow the raw materiality of the steel to stand prominently on its own

A project that showcases detailed fabrication capability and the effective use of architectural steel to deliver both performance and presence.
